Itinerary

Day 1
  • Day 1 Kasane: We leave Victoria falls behind us and cross over to Botswana. The country is well renowned for its political stability and spectacular wildlife. We arrive in Kasane and set up our tents in a designated campsite with permanent ablutions. Here we have an optional boat cruise along the Chobe river in the afternoon at your own expense. This river attracts large herds of elephants, buffalos, and birds.

Day 2
  • Day 2 - Elephant sands : On the second day we will reach Elephant sands bush lodge and campsite. This area is situated 53 kilometres north of Nata, on the main road to Kasane. This wilderness area offers a beautiful view of a watering hole that attracts herds of wild African Elephants. Please don’t get too close to wild animals. A night will be spent in a campsite.

Day 3
  • Day 3 Nxai Pan: We drive to Nxai Pan Game Reserve through the shimmering salt pans of an ancient lake that appear as a glaring white endless plain. During the rainy season, this place changes dramatically as thousands of Blue wildebeests and the Plains Zebras migrate to the sweet nutritious grasses. The endangered flamingos also filter feed on the algae-rich water. Nxai pan receives a very low amount of rainfall, and therefore this spectacle lasts for a short time. In this game reserve, we will camp wild in one of the designated campsites. Nxai Pan has adequate water holes that sustain lions, black-backed jackals, springboks, and majestic African elephants.

Day 4
  • Day 4 Maun: We drive through the Kalahari sands to Maun village, the gateway to the Okavango delta. In Maun, we will do shopping, visit the internet café, cultural village, play paintball, target shooting, ride go-karts, or enjoy a scenic flight over the Okavango delta at own expenses.

Day 5
  • Day 5 & 6 Okavango Delta: We will reach the banks of an absolute oasis in the Kalahari basin. Here we will meet our community guides, real experts in poling the traditional dugout canoes. They will take us deep into the heart of the world’s largest inland delta. This place has amazing numbers of elephants, red lechwe, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, birds, plants, reptiles, and inserts. Poling through the meandering channels of the Okavango is a breathtaking experience. Just sit back and relax as the water gurgles gently under the mokoro while your experienced poler points out the Flora and fauna. Activities on the islands include guided nature walks and mokoro excursions. A memorable experience indeed.

Day 7
  • Day 7&8 Moremi: We will drive into the Moremi Game Reserve through the Mophane woodland and camp wildly in the northern part of this reserve. This is the first Game reserve to be created by the native Africans in 1962 to halt a rapid depletion of the game in this area. Moremi Game Reserve is very popular for its rewarding game drive experiences, predators and prey species can be spotted here. A true paradise!

Day 9
  • Day 9 Savuti: Game density in this area remains remarkable. You will get an opportunity to see the bushman rock paintings at Gadikwe. Majestic herds of African Elephants roam this area. There is a good opportunity to spot them in the afternoon at the water hole when the river is dry.

Day 10
  • Day 10 Serondela: Our expedition takes us further to the southeastern part(Serondela) of the Chobe National Park. This will enhance our photographic opportunities. Our campsite in Serondela is situated next to the Chobe River. Big herds of elephants roam around this portion of the National Park.

Day 11
  • Day 11 Kasane: Game drives through Chobe national park to Kasane village. Here there is a chance to do shopping, visit the café and interact with the locals and camp for a night.

Day 12
  • Day 12 Victoria Falls: These magnificent falls are one of the true wonders of the world. The mighty Zambezi thunders over the gorge creating a magnificent spectacle. The spray from the falls sustains the forest surrounding this area. Birdlife is abundant and protected here. Activities here include bungee jumping, white water rafting, elephant riding, and flight of the angels at your own expense.

Day 13
  • Day 13: Tour ends after breakfast.
